This intimate event is a celebration of the legacy of Christopher "The Notorious B.I.G." Wallace and the many contributions to music which he made over his career.
Christopher "The Notorious B.I.G." Wallace (AKA Biggie Smalls) is celebrated as one of the greatest rap artists of all time and is described by many as "The Savior of East Coast Hip-Hop". The Source, Lexani and Blender all named Biggie Smalls the greatest rapper of all time. XXL Magazine asked several top Hip-Hop artists to list their five favorite MCs, Biggie Small's name appeared on more rappers' lists than anyone else. Additionally, XXL Magazine’s March issue is a special commemoration edition for the 15-year anniversary of the untimely passing of Biggie Smalls.
Since his death, Wallace's lyrics have been sampled and quoted by a variety of Hip-Hop, R&B and pop artists including Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Alicia Keys, Fat Joe, Nelly, Eminem, Lil Wayne and Usher. The Legend that is The Notorious B.I.G. will live in both our Hearts and iPods Forever…
